Biography
Pham Dinh Tien was born in 1988 in Lam Dong Province. In 2012, he graduated with a bachelor degree in sculpture. He’s currently a lecturer at the Department of Sculpture at the HCMC University of Fine Arts. His works are known for the distorted imagery of the human body, the restraint of form and muscles, and the color of metallic silver that evokes a sense of loneliness yet remains a powerful struggle of the mind. He participated and won award in the HCMC biennale exhibition of young artists, the DOGMA exhibition, and the annual report exhibition of the HCMC Fine Arts Association. Recently, he held a solo exhibition organized by Damien By Mischelle, and has works featured in the 10-year National Sculptual Exhibition.
He’s currently experimenting and researching on new art forms through sculpture while participating in San Art’s residency program.
