Biography

A writer by profession, Levi Masuli (b. 1991, Philippines) used to play jazz piano in hotels and cafes before deciding to look for more ways to create sound. He now explores its conceptual possibilities. With hyperproduction and saturation of content defining the current creative zeitgeist across fields and genres, particularly in music and sound, the artist aims not just to create more sound, but also, to challenge existing modes of listening. Also a member of the action group Pedantic Pedestrians, he is currently residing in the mountain city of Baguio in the Philippines.
