Sàn Art would like to invite you to a live performance by Lost Sessions, an ongoing collaborative project by Hieu Tarno and Qush Abdul exploring the world of audiovisuals, including noises from self-made instruments and melodic textures created with electronic gears. Incorporating a programmable visual software triggered by sounds, their performances create immersive and sensory experiences for the public.
The duo’s two-set performance at Sàn Art will take us into different sound territories:
Act I: Take off your shoes, We’re flying…
“Calm and collected, Act I reflects the flow of consciousness. A visually immersed atmosphere of space and time compliments the ambient feels of drones from tape machines to invoke the sensations of peace and tranquillity.”
Act II: Hey, I’m Lost.
“Trepidation, paranoia, despair, and qualm, Act II invites the notion of negativity and the opposed self. Chaotic sounds, subtle melodic layers and harsh textures created with analog and digital synthesizers are used to generate visuals inducing the agony of oppression.”
